Jason Witczak, a PGA Class A instructor who specializes in kinesiology and proper setup, honed his playing and teaching skills under the watchful eye of the great Manuel de la Torre who was his instructor in his home state of Wisconsin. Jason is best known for increasing distance with proper training, regardless of physical ability. If you ask Jason what he enjoys the most, he’ll say teaching all levels of player, from PGA players, to developing junior athletes and all golf enthusiasts in between! He also uses Hudl Technique along with Trackman and Flight scope launch monitors to give his students immediate feedback. Recently, Jason has partnered with GolfTrainingAids.com, the largest supplier of training aids to PGA players. You’ll see him using training aids such as the Swing Wizzard, Tee Claw, the Hanger and more!
His most recent PGA roster includes Michael Block (2014 National Club Professional Championship winner), Mark Hensby (a PGA Tour player with 5 wins worldwide), Doug Miller (Super Senior Remax World Long Drive Champion), Kevin Stadler (PGA Tour winner), and Tisha Abrea (Symetra Tour Player). Jason is currently working with MLB players Chris Young and Justin Upton.
Jason got off to a good start to his professional playing career winning the Southwest PGA Section Pro- Assistant at Alta Mesa Country Club in May 2005 firing a 14-under par score of 130. Later that year he qualified for the Taylor-Made Adidas National Assistants Championship in Port St. Lucie, FL. Known for his length and accuracy off the tee, he qualified for the Remax World Long Drive Championship in 2006, ‘07 and ‘09 (finishing 13th overall in 2007 with the third longest single drive (404 yards) of that competition). Competing in Denver that same year he finished 2nd in the Mile High Shootout with a monster drive of 423 yards! In 2012, Jason qualified for the prestigious National Club Professional Championship.
Not only has he been successful on the golf course teaching golfers of all ages how to improve their game, but he is a former NFL football player. He was a professional place kicker for the Tennessee Titans in 2001 and 2002, the Buffalo Bills in 2003, NFL Europe Rhein Fire 2002 and the Barcelona Dragons in 2003. He also competed in the Arena Football League where he played for the Arizona Rattlers in 2004, ‘08, ‘10, ’11 and the Nashville Kats from 2005-07.
Jason and his wife Jaime are parents of three young boys and Jason devotes much of his free time coaching his sons’ hockey and baseball teams. The Witczak Family calls Denver home, where Jason is the Director of Instruction at The Club at Pradera and The Pinery Country Club.
